Countdowns - with Widget App Reviews

Nice concept, but would be nice if there was an option to show years, month and days. Days only isn’t what I was looking for. I would like to know how many years’ months and days to an event for long range events.

Purchased the $1 unlock unlimited but the widget doesn’t know so it keeps asking me to buy it over and over. It’s a pain and there is no support. Getting a refund.

The App serves my purpose and it’s working as advertised. I mainly use it for dates in the near future (max 1 year). The price of $0.99 is totally ok for the piece of software you get.

When I opened the edit window, it suggested syncing to iCloud. I chose to sync, and then it said that the events I have locally are missing in the iCloud and asked whether I want to add them to iCloud. I chose yes, but it duplicated all my events. So I tried to delete the duplicate items, but when I tried to delete item A, it asked whether I’m deleting item B (one with different title and date), then crashed. Also, I found that I cannot delete events by clicking the red minus button in the widget in the new version. I can still delete them after clicking the gear icon, but it takes two more clicks than before. (clicking the gear and closing the Edit window.) I reported the bugs to the developer, but have not heard back in more than a week. In conclusion, I expected a lot for this update, but was sadly disappointed.

This app is perfect for keeping track of important upcoming events. Well worth the money spent!

I’ve been trying to activate my in-app purchase and the app fails to recognize I bought it! Also, iCloud sync isn’t working between devices.

It does it’s job, but whenever you set a countdown, to something like this: It’s 2:15 and I set a countdown for 2:30. Instead of saying “15 Min Left” It says 15 Hours left. Whoever designed this obviously didn’t know what they were doing.

I am highly frustrated with this application. It has 1 thing to do; keep due dates consistent among devices. Syncing never reliably works.

Pros — Clean, simple, highly legible interface — Ability to track multiple events — Ability to use date or date/time as needed — Notifications Integration Cons — For some reason, iCloud Sync wouldn’t work on my MacBookPro until I signed out of the account and signed back in. Summary - Does just what I need, and well worth the $0.99 to unlock the unlimited date range functionality.

When functioning, the app works well. I liked having countdowns in notification center. But, when I installed on a new machine, I was unable to restore the in-app purchase. I tried to contact the developer and got no response. From other reviews and the developer web site I see this is a known issue. Its not too expensive at $0.99, but still, it is very unprofessional to leave an app in the store with this level of broken functionality for so long.

I already purchased unlock unlimited. Formatted by laptop, now it wouldn’t recognize my purchase. I need help!
